About T2T in Texas

We are pleased to announce our 4th Texas Hero Golf Tournament to be held on April 17, 2023 at Bentwater.

More than 200 families and critically wounded veterans have received mortgage-free homes during the year. The Foundation's Season of Hope awards included the families of four fallen Texas First Responders and their 11 children:

•    San Antonio Fire Department Engineer Lyle Crawford Jr.
•    Amarillo Police Sergeant Michael Dunn
•    Border Patrol Agent Ricardo Zarate
•    Harris County Deputy Sheriff Shaun Waters

On December 19, 2022, U.S. Army veteran Maggie Mae Billyeu received her Smart Home in Lago Vista, Texas. It will provide her with the custom essentials necessary to cope with her injuries incurred in Afghanistan.
2022 also saw the first Gold Star Family move into the Foundation's "Let Us Do Good Village" in Land O' Lakes, Florida. More than 100 families will live in this hero's village.

The Foundation's newest "Homeless Veterans Program" was started in 2022 to provide a safe and dignified home and basic needs to help the estimated 37,00 homeless veterans reclaim their lives. A 150 room hotel in the Willowbrook neighborhood of Houston was purchased and is undergoing renovations into transitional and permanent housing units for veterans, with on-site rehabilitation services. This Program will work with other organizations, government agencies and foundations to provide the physical and mental assistance needed by those who have served our country. Activities have commenced in Riverside, CA, Phoenix and Los Angeles for similar facilities.
